Course Details

To provide an awareness and develop the knowledge amongst employees as regards the hazards and risks posed by asbestos containing materials (ACMs). The course further gives an overview of the legislative measures in place to permit employees to safeguard themselves and others affected by work activities.

Things to know

This training course is designed to provide delegates with an understanding of asbestos only. It will not provide information on how to carry out any work with asbestos.
This course can be combined with the Asbestos Non-Licensed Operative course for a full qualification. Contact our team for more information.
Delegates will be assessed by a multiple-choice assessment that requires an 80% pass mark. Certification will be provided on successful completion of the training and is valid for one year. UKATA requires those with this certificate to attend annual refresher training.
We deliver this training at our Centre in Wincanton, but we can also come to our client’s venue to deliver the course if you are able to meet the off-site training requirements.

You do not require PPE for this course as it is classroom based.
