FAQ

Why have I got to do Driver’s CPC?
You must do 35 hours of periodic training every five years to keep your Driver’s Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) to drive a lorry, bus or coach. You can be fined up to £1,000 for driving professionally without Driver’s CPC. You can check how many hours of training you’ve done in the current 5-year period. You only need to complete one training set every five years if you drive both lorries and buses professionally. You must complete the training in the country where you work or typically live.
Can I complete the same CPC course more than once?
Unfortunately, drivers should not repeat the same periodic CPC training module within a 5-year rolling period. Please ensure you check which courses you have completed before booking.
What type of identification do I need to bring with me?
To complete your driver's CPC training, you must provide us with a valid photo ID, driving license or driver’s card.
