To find out more about what we can offer you, please read the below information.
Health & Safety Audits
At Crestmoor Training we provide independent health and safety inspections and audits.
Health and safety inspections and audits by independent and competent health and safety professionals are now considered an essential part of construction site health and safety arrangements.
In comparison to regular site health and safety inspections, a health and safety audit is considered more as a one-off exercise to monitor any particular site health and safety related issue.
Our inspections and audit service include undertaking a thorough site visit (generally unannounced) to identify any shortcomings in the current health and safety arrangements (and recognise good practices as well) and present a formal written report with identified issues where improvements may be required (with photos where necessary), suggested action plan and target completion time scales where applicable.
Please contact us if you are interested in the site inspections and audit service or would like to know more about this service.
Fire Risk Assessments
It is a legal requirement to have a Fire Risk Assessment in any building where people may be working. This arises from the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 in England and Wales.
You must keep a written record of your fire risk assessment if your business has 5 or more people.
We can provide a comprehensive Fire Risk Assessment via an inspection of your premise and providing a written report.
Portable Appliance Testing
Portable appliance testing (PAT) is the term used to describe the examination of electrical appliances and equipment to ensure they are safe to use. Most electrical safety defects can be found by visual examinations, but some types of defect can only be found by testing.
However, it is essential to understand that visual examination is an essential part of the process because some types of electrical safety defect cannot be detected by testing alone.
We can provide our PAT service, which includes a report on the items tested to ensure your compliance.
